What's on in our wild world

As creatives, we take inspiration from all over and we enjoy keeping our fingers on the pulse for everything in the world of arts, culture, food, music and travel. We like to share our wild world with those who have similar passions as us, or for those who just want to know a little more about our wild world.

Here in our journal space, we share some of the things we love, the experiences we remember and everything you need to feel inspired by our wild world. From reading about why Peonies are one of our favourite flowers, to hearing about a recent day out at a new local hotel, enjoy our stories here.

WILD ABOUT FLOWERS has a new home

Here at wild about flowers we started the year with some extremely exciting news. After 17 years in our lovely but little shop, we've expanded and moved right next door into a gorgeous Grade Two listed building. Much time and creative thought has gone into designing this space that will cater for ours and yours every need.

Flower stand 360 At the heart of it all, we are wild about flowers. Everyday we love coming into our shop and working with fresh, beautiful flowers and foliages that can change and offer something new every time we use them. We will continue to push our creative levels and challenge our capabilities so that our customers stay just as wild about flowers as we are.

More than just a flower shop To compliment our fresh and full flower stand we also fill our shop with a unique selection of gifts. It's important to us to support other creative industries and we carefully choose local and British designers to work with and stock their gorgeous products in our lovely shop. You'll find a tempting selection of scented candles, hand-made chocolates, unique greeting cards and homewares - the perfect treat for others or yourself.

Being wild With a creative and quirky eye, over the years we have collected some unique items and pieces of furniture. When we are not working, you'll find us rummaging at car boots, browsing at vintage and antique fairs, bidding at auctions and making a deal at house clearances. Number 33 offers us a space for us to show our unique sense of style and our new home for wild about flowers follows a rustic and raw experience with touch of our personality throughout. You'll find alternative items like metal lobster traps being used as shelving and antique drawers to display our greeting cards. We love nothing more than coming across something weird and wondering and finding a perfect use for it. One of our favourite finds is our 1950's cocktail bar which was a hidden gem discovered by Ivy on eBay.
