Meet your
bookworm hosts

Jasmine

Hey book-lovers! I studied English Language and Linguistics at University before I re-trained as a florist, so hosting Books and Bellini's at Wild about flowers is the perfect hybrid of both of my loves. For me, not a lot sounds better than chatting away about a great book surrounded by flowers, sipping on a cocktail. The ideal way for me to spend my time is either outdoors in the middle of nowhere, or in a funky restaurant bar. My favourite genres include anything greek mythology, and coming of age angsty female types! I look forward to chatting away in our own cosy book-haven.

Jodie

Hi everyone! I’m Jodie, the barista in Sips at Wild About Flowers. When I’m not making coffee I’m making music, songwriting, and performing live. I’m also a big reader, with a love for true crime, thrillers and cheesy romance. A coffee shop and a book is the way to my heart, so for me this is the book club of dreams. If I love a book I’ll read it in a few days, and if I don’t I always force myself to finish it, no matter how long it takes. I don’t know many readers, so I’m excited to be able to talk about what I’m reading and maybe meet some likeminded book lovers along the way.

Current Favourite: Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman

Currently Reading: His Only Wife by Peace Adzo Medie
