What's on in our wild world

As creatives, we take inspiration from all over and we enjoy keeping our fingers on the pulse for everything in the world of arts, culture, food, music and travel. We like to share our wild world with those who have similar passions as us, or for those who just want to know a little more about our wild world.

Here in our journal space, we share some of the things we love, the experiences we remember and everything you need to feel inspired by our wild world. From reading about why Peonies are one of our favourite flowers, to hearing about a recent day out at a new local hotel, enjoy our stories here.

Where to travel in 2019

Updated: Jan 30, 2023

The start of the year brings a new chance to explore places and travel the world., but where are the best places to travel in 2019? We round up some of our favourite places we're yearning to explore.

"We travel for romance, we travel for architecture, and we travel to be lost."

With busy schedules and being family ran business; we are all about the planning and love to sit down with new travel guides, brochures and let ourselves feel inspired before booking some well deserved breaks.

Here's where our team will be heading in 2019!

Los Angeles

Known for its more glamorous lifestyle, L.A has always been viewed with rose-tinted shades and one of the places to visit. It's a destination bursting with culture from new art galleries, museums, a flourishing fashion scene and some of the most tweeted about restaurants in America. Of course there are its notorious tourist hotspots to discover too with is being the home of the Hollywood sign, Beverly Hills, and the walk of fame.

Edinburgh A city full of such character, it offers a diverse offering from independent cafes to scenic hillside views. A town of two halves you can explore the grand New Town and its Georgian streets, or get lost amongst the cobble alleys in the Medieval Old Town. Full of iconic tourist beauty spots from the Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile and Arthur's Seat. Just over an hours flight from Bristol, you'll be immersed in Scotland vibrant Capital before you know it.

Copenhagen Named as one of the best cities in the world for solo travel, and happiest cities to live; there are many other reasons that inspired us to put this city on our travel list this year. Copenhagen is a city big enough to get lost in its architecture, submersed in food offerings, and inspired by their innovative culture; but still small enough to feel at home when exploring. It's a modern city with a hip, eco-friendly attitude to living, not to mention the Danish pastries and tourist friendly cycle routes. We'll be mostly in awe of the captivating design Denmark is so famous for and no doubt will come back a Hygge lifestyle pro.

Hong Kong Notably named as one of the dining capitals of the world, Hong Kong has a vibrant atmosphere and is a city that never sleeps. An absolute foodie's dream with all the dim sum you can imagine the city also is home to some of the most glamorous sky high bars and restaurants. You had us at dinner with a view..! From breathtaking views of an iconic skyline to idyllic breaches and hiking trails, it's a travel destination that goes beyond your expectations for exploration.

Centre Parcs

We've enjoyed a plenty family holidays in this wonderful place and always find ourselves returning year after year. A 400 acre site featuring rare giant redwoods, Longleat Forest is a firm favourite for those all important weekend breaks. The idyllic scenery offers a peaceful setting for a relaxing break, but there's an abundance of fun to be enjoyed for a more active holiday too, from the infamous water rapids, cycle trails, sports plaza and adventure playgrounds.
