What's on in our wild world

As creatives, we take inspiration from all over and we enjoy keeping our fingers on the pulse for everything in the world of arts, culture, food, music and travel. We like to share our wild world with those who have similar passions as us, or for those who just want to know a little more about our wild world.

Here in our journal space, we share some of the things we love, the experiences we remember and everything you need to feel inspired by our wild world. From reading about why Peonies are one of our favourite flowers, to hearing about a recent day out at a new local hotel, enjoy our stories here.

Living Coral is the colour of the year

Updated: Sep 13, 2022

We always eagerly await the Pantone colour of the year big reveal and couldn't be more delighted with this years chosen colour.

Described as 'an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energises and enlivens with a softer edge' we can see why it's a colour that's ignited exciting trends from all corners of the art and interiors world.

Living Coral is Pantone's 2019 colour of the year

Pantone explain a deeper thought behind the chosen colour;

"In reaction to the onslaught of digital technology and social media increasingly embedding into daily life, we are seeking authentic and immersive experiences that enable connection and intimacy. Sociable and spirited, the engaging nature of PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral welcomes and encourages lighthearted activity. Symbolising our innate need for optimism and joyful pursuits, PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral embodies our desire for playful expression."

We adore the carefree attitude this colour represents and feel its tone really expresses a sense of being free and letting go of any restrictions, embracing only the positive.

As we move into the brighter months of Spring and Summer, the boldness of the colour Coral will pop throughout our floral designs, from fresh blooms on our flower stand to being the stand out focal point in wedding designs.
