Located at the heart of the High Street in Keynsham, our floral home has the perfect Courtyard space to invite others to enjoy. From opening our floral home with themed shopping events to sharing our space with other independent makers and creatives, we love to bring the community together and have curated a series of Courtyard Events for all to enjoy.
Our series of Courtyard Markets will start from September and be hosted on Saturday throughout the rest of the year until December. Browse through our updated timetable of events below which starts with a Heritage Open Day special.
Saturday 10th September: Heritage Open Days Open: 9.30 - 2.30
We will be hosting a Courtyard event for Heritage open days. A special day to launch a week long celebrations of Heritage open days in Keynsham. We are looking forward to welcoming the return of our Saturday courtyard markets and couldn’t be more proud for it to be on a day that brings the whole community together in a series of events and workshops.
‘Longton House is now home to wild about flowers. A beautiful grade II listed property on Keynsham High Street. Visit us to learn of the buildings history, view the walk-in vault and make flower crowns in our courtyard. Heritage open day will include flower crown making and workroom tours."
Saturday 17th September: Furniture & Homewares
Open: 9.30 - 2.30
Our floral home is open for shopping with independent stalls in our courtyard displaying up-cycled furniture, bespoke creations, and a few vintage finds from our lock up! Fresh flower bunches to pick up, beautiful products by sustainable makers, and gorgeous gifts for all occasions. We look forward to welcoming you into our creative space on Saturday 17th September.
Saturday 15th October: Charity Fundraiser
Open: 9.30 - 2.30 Charity event being hosted in the courtyard. We are open Saturday 8th October for you to collect pre orders, pick up fresh flower bunches, browse our collection of beautiful products from sustainable makers and gorgeous gifts for all occasions. You can also show support to a local fundraiser being held in our courtyard as Mike takes on a sponsored 12hour climb.
Darren from The thoughtful bakery will also join us with fresh bakes and hot drinks. Fresh flower bunches to pick up, beautiful products by sustainable makers, and gorgeous gifts for all occasions. We look forward to welcoming you into our creative space on Saturday 15th October.
Saturday 12th November: Courtyard Market with Independent stalls Open: 9.30 - 2.30
We'll be hosting a Courtyard market with independent shopping stalls. Our floral home will be open for shopping with independent stalls from talented local makers in our courtyard and also hosting Keynsham Coffee Co for some fine hot drinks. With fresh flower bunches to pick up, beautiful products by sustainable makers, and gorgeous gifts for all occasions. We look forward to welcoming you into our creative space on Saturday 12th November.
Friday 25th November: Winter Festival Courtyard Event Open: 6.00 - 8.00pm he Winter festival returns this year on Friday 25th November. This wonderful evening shows great community spirit, is a chance to visit your local High Street and celebrate all the amazing independent shops we have. We will be joined in our courtyard by Darren from The Thoughtful Bakery, demonstrations of our classic foliage wreaths, children’s table for making crafts and cards in time for Christmas, live music and plenty of seasonal treats. Pop by for a glass of something warm and visit our floral home looking magical.
Saturday 3rd December: Courtyard Small Business Saturday Celebration
Open: 9.00am - 12.00noon
Small business Saturday celebrates their 10th Anniversary today and we are so proud to be part of this incredible organisation supporting small businesses up and down the country. To thank our very special customers and join in the celebrations we will be handing complimentary goodies out from 9.00 - 12.00.
Saturday 10th December: Christmas Courtyard Market Open: 9.30 - 2.30pm We'll be hosting a festive Courtyard market with a Christmas wreath stall and children’s crafts stall. Our floral home will be open for shopping with independent stalls in our courtyard including Keynsham Coffee Co, demonstrations of our Christmas foliage wreaths, Children's craft stall, and plenty of seasonal treats! With our Gorgeous Christmas collection of designs to order, fresh flower bunches to pick up, beautiful products by sustainable makers, and gorgeous gifts for all occasions. We look forward to welcoming you into our creative space on Saturday 10th December.
Saturday 17th December: Christmas Courtyard Event
Open: 9.30 - 2.30pm
We'll be hosting our Christmas Courtyard event with Salvation Army and Keynsham Coffee Co. Our floral home is open for shopping for the last Saturday this year! We will be joined by the salvation army playing in our courtyard, Keynsham Coffee Co and many other seasonal treats as we head into our final week of flowering before Christmas. With our Gorgeous Christmas collection of designs to order, fresh flower bunches to pick up, beautiful products by sustainable makers, and gorgeous gifts for all occasions.
