What we're most looking forward to in 2019
Updated: Sep 13, 2022
The New Year always fills us creatives with a blank page and a chance to look for new opportunities and ideas for the year ahead.
Working in a forever changing industry means we are constantly evolving day to day, month to month, but the month of January really allows us to take a breather and set aside our goals and ambitions for the year to come. We can fill pages for our New Years resolutions and targets, but there are a few stand out goals we're working on that we'd love to share.

We enter our 3rd year in our new home and our 19th year in business and we couldn't be more excited to continue to grow at wild about flowers.
Read on to find out what we've got coming up this year with some special highlights we are truly excited about...
New designers & suppliers Our expanded space brought much more opportunity for us to showcase the lovely designers and fellow creatives we meet. We've been working extremely hard behind the scenes to source and hand select new suppliers. We are passionate about being eco-friendly, handmade and as a family ran business we look for brands that hold similar values or ethos to ours to compliment this and our own style.
We are so excited to be welcoming a well-known pottery brand to our shop we have adored for years and know first hand from years of buying the brand just how beautiful their products are. We've also been on the look out to bring a new and ethical candle company to Number 33 and we are proud to be stocking two new amazing brands; we hope you love them just as much as we do.

Eco-friendly packaging The world had a big wake up call to the damaging effects of plastic in 2018 and a movement all over has begun to try and change the world's sustainability. At wild about flowers we have always been incredibly passionate about the environment. Back when our business first launched in 2000, our own business cards were even made from elephant poo, and we were conscious of ensuring our footprint didn't leave a negative trace. We've been striving to make our eco-friendly ethos stretch that little bit further and in 2019 we will be launching our new eco-friendly packaging, as well as ensuring as many areas of our business are eco-friendly, plastic free and reusable.

Wild about weddings Weddings continue to be a wonderful part of the work we do here at wild about flowers and we are already busy meeting and planning with our couples to bring their ideas to life. We're constantly looking at how we can improve and offer a truly bespoke service to each and every one of our couples. In 2018 Angela our Owner at wild about flowers attended an insightful 'Eco Floristry Workshop' with floral designer Sabine Darrell, bringing some wonderful new ideas and techniques back to our shop with a focus on foam free designs. Ivy, our Senior Florist & Operations Manager continues to advance her creative skill set attending Kate Cullen's 'Curated by Heart' masterclass and Sabine Darrel's business masterclass focusing on weddings.
And for some of our more personal highlights; What are you most looking forward to in 2019?
