What's on in our wild world

As creatives, we take inspiration from all over and we enjoy keeping our fingers on the pulse for everything in the world of arts, culture, food, music and travel. We like to share our wild world with those who have similar passions as us, or for those who just want to know a little more about our wild world.

Here in our journal space, we share some of the things we love, the experiences we remember and everything you need to feel inspired by our wild world. From reading about why Peonies are one of our favourite flowers, to hearing about a recent day out at a new local hotel, enjoy our stories here.

Our New Years resolutions

Updated: Sep 13, 2022

The start of the year marks a time for new beginnings and a world of opportunities. We start the year with a clear mind ready to take on what's ahead. Here at wild about flowers we are all about planning.

The Christmas break is the perfect chance for us to take some time to reflect on the year gone by and prepare for what lies ahead. In amongst the warm fires, mulled wine, winter walks and chocolate eating we get creative with some planning sessions of what we want to achieve for the next year. We look at what might not of worked so well for us, what we want to do differently and any new ventures we want to embark on.

If you're like us and like to get ahead then there is no doubt that you have already made your news years resolutions.

The WILD ABOUT FLOWERS team share the New Year resolutions we are striving for with a top tip on how to achieve yours!

Rosa, Marketing & Social Media Manager

Resolution: Where do I start? Take that trip to Paris and read more books. Top Tip: Be realistic. The goals you set need to be achievable or you are only setting yourself up for disappointment. There's nothing wrong with setting yourself a starting goal which can be built on each year.

Ivy, Operational Manager & Senior Florist

Resolution: To still make time for some fun family time when I get home, even after a busy day! To also manage my time so I can volunteer at the NICU Southmead Hospital.

Top Tip: Always have an open mind; there's always more than one way to achieve something

Angela, Owner Resolution: To embrace the changing seasons Top Tip: It's the little things that mean a lot!

Happy resolution making!! We'll check back at the end of the year to see how many we ticked off.
